Full Stack Software Engineer | Go | TypeScript | React | Terraform | Outside IR35
📍 Fully Remote (Must be UK based)
💼 6 Month Contract (Outside IR35)
💰 Up to £500 per day
We're partnering with an established UK organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation and are looking for an experienced Contract Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernise and rebuild several business-critical applications.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:
- Develop and enhance backend services using Go (Golang)
- Build and maintain modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript
- Design, build and consume REST APIs and GraphQL services
- Work with PostgreSQL databases and modern backend architectures
- Deploy and maintain applications within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
- Support infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform and Google Cloud Build
- Investigate and resolve technical issues while improving the reliability and performance of existing applications
- Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the ongoing evolution of the platform

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with:
- Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang)
- Excellent React and TypeScript development skills
- Experience building scalable backend services and APIs
- Commercial experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
- Strong SQL database experience, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
- Experience modernising legacy systems or working within digital transformation programmes would be advantageous
