FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER
London | Hybrid
We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing technology team in London. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful products, contribute to technical decisions, and play a key role in building and improving software used by a large customer base.
THE ROLE
You'll join a collaborative engineering team working across the full software development lifecycle. The role is genuinely full stack, with a strong focus on Java and React, and you'll have the opportunity to work across both backend services and modern frontend applications.
You'll be involved in:
- Designing, building, and maintaining software across the full stack
- Developing backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Building modern frontend applications using React
- Working with databases and integrating with external services and APIs
- Contributing to technical design and architectural decisions
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Working closely with engineers, product, and wider business teams
- Taking ownership of features from initial development through to delivery
- Continuously improving the way software is built, tested, and deployed

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a Software Engineer with commercial experience across Java and React who enjoys working across the full stack.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Java and Spring Boot
- React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
- REST APIs and backend development
- Relational databases and SQL
- Automated testing and CI/CD
- Agile software development environments
- Cloud technologies would be beneficial

THE OPPORTUNITY
