About The Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Specialist Java Fullstack Developers and VP-level engineers to join an elite engineering team at one of the world's leading financial institutions. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a flagship greenfield platform from the ground up, enabling you to work on critical, high-impact technology projects. The successful candidates will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems that are fundamental to the organization’s digital transformation strategy. This position requires a hands-on approach, a passion for coding, and a commitment to engineering excellence. You will collaborate closely with a team of top-tier developers and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet stringent quality standards and business needs.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proven experience in Java development, ideally within financial services or similar high-stakes environments. Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in modern development practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience working with modern engineering practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance Java-based microservices.
- Contributing to the architecture and technical design of the greenfield platform.
- Implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver robust solutions.
- Participating in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards and policies.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and incorporating innovative technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
