About The Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Specialist Java Fullstack Developers and VP-level engineers to join an elite engineering team at one of the world's leading financial institutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in building a flagship greenfield platform from the ground up, offering a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical technology in a highly quality-driven environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where your coding expertise and innovative mindset will directly impact the organization’s technological landscape. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to deliver robust solutions that support the company's strategic objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Java development, with extensive experience in full-stack engineering. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus. Candidates should have proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. Experience with modern development practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and AI-assisted development is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code are essential. Leadership qualities and prior experience working at VP level or in senior engineering roles will be advantageous. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and a commitment to continuous learning are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Specialist Java Fullstack Developer or VP-level engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing scalable, high-performance microservices and full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Leading technical discussions, providing mentorship to junior team members, and promoting best coding practices.
- Participating in architecture design and system integration to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
- Implementing modern engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing to enhance code quality and deployment efficiency.
- Collaborating with product teams to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.
- Optimizing existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and continuously improving development methodologies.
