Full Stack Engineer (Java/C#/React & Python) | Front Office Equity Derivatives - Inside ir35 - £650 London (Hybrid), Global Investment Bank
We're working with a leading investment bank seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a Front Office technology team supporting the Equity Derivatives business.
This is a highly visible role where you'll work directly with traders, quants, and structurers, building bespoke applications that support both flow and structured/exotic derivatives trading.
You'll be embedded within the business, delivering real-time solutions that sit at the heart of the trading desk.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing bespoke Front Office trading applications
- Building full-stack solutions using Java or C#, React, and Python
- Developing trader-facing dashboards, workflows, and analytics tools
- Working directly with traders and quants to capture requirements and deliver solutions
- Enhancing low-latency, business-critical trading systems
- Taking ownership of features from design through to production support
- Contributing to the evolution of modern event-driven architectures

What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Java or C#
- Commercial experience with React
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Proven Full Stack development experience
- Experience building enterprise-grade production systems
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices

This role is best suited to engineers who enjoy operating close to the business and can confidently engage with Front Office stakeholders on a daily basis.
