Full Description
As an Entry Level Full Stack Developer at Hiredbuddy, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that serve a diverse client base. This remote role is perfect for someone who is eager to apply foundational coding skills in a real-world environment while learning from experienced professionals. You will work on both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust server-side logic.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js for the front end.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Express, or similar back-end technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and continuously improve development processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
- Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to design schemas, write queries, and manage data storage.
- Use version control systems like Git for collaborative development and deployment.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.
- Assist in testing and deployment using CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Heroku).

Our stack evolves, but currently we rely on:
- Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux, or Vue.js

Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in full stack development (internships and personal projects count)
- Proficiency in at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and one back-end language (Node.js, Python, or Ruby)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP fundamentals
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Ability to write clean, testable code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
