Company Description

MedOra OS is building an operating system that connects patients, providers, and payers to create a more coordinated healthcare ecosystem. The platform combines AI-assisted clinical workflows with clinician oversight to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making in care delivery. MedOra OS focuses on enabling intelligent healthcare systems that streamline operations while supporting high-quality clinical outcomes. Team members collaborate at the intersection of technology and healthcare, contributing to tools that aim to transform how care is delivered and managed.

Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Chief Technology Officer at MedOra OS. The CTO will provide strategic technology leadership, setting the technical vision and roadmap for the platform, with a particular focus on AI-assisted clinical workflows and system integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software architecture and development, guiding product and engineering teams, and ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives. The CTO will manage key technical projects, establish best practices for security, scalability, and reliability, and collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required Technical Experience

  • 8+ years software engineering experience.
  • Previous CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering or equivalent senior technical leadership experience.
  • Strong full-stack development background.
  • Production experience with modern web applications and APIs.
  • Strong backend and cloud architecture experience.
  • Experience rebuilding or scaling an existing production platform.
  • Experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience shipping mobile applications.
  • Apple App Store experience.
  • Strong understanding of databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.

  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
