Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer | AI Cybersecurity Startup
£120,000 + benefits & equity | London | Hybrid 2–3 days a week
The best salary I've seen for a mid-level...
If you're a mid-level engineer with around 3–5 years' experience who loves building and wants more ownership, this is somewhere you can scratch that itch.
You'll join a small, product-focused engineering team working directly with a technical founder, taking customer problems from idea through to production.
- No layers of red tape.
- You'll be trusted to figure things out, build properly and ship, learn and improve quickly.
The founder has spent years building this technology himself, and the team has a simple ethos: a rising tide lifts all boats.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

They use LLMs heavily as development tools, but you still need strong independent engineering judgement. LLMs are used as a pair programmer, not relied on.
Cybersecurity isn't required. They'll teach you the domain. React, Airflow, Prefect or security experience is a bonus.
Why join?
You'll get exposure to customers, product, architecture and production from day one, with genuine ownership and very few blockers.
Please apply even if you don't have an up-to-date CV. We can cross that bridge later.
