About Biostream
At Biostream, we're building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of battlefield medical intelligence. Our platform combines physiological data, AI and operational intelligence to improve survivability in the world's most demanding environments.
We're looking for an exceptional software engineer to help build the future of military patient care. You'll develop the software that digitises casualty management from the point of injury through evacuation and treatment, transforming fragmented paper-based workflows into an intelligent, connected platform used by medics, hospitals and military commanders.
This is not a traditional software engineering role. We're looking for someone who is excited by modern AI-native development, enjoys building products at speed using the latest tools and technologies, and cares deeply about creating software that will directly improve outcomes for wounded service personnel in high-pressure operational environments.

What you will work on
- Node.js backend services for secure data ingestion, storage, and access
- React web interfaces for medical workflows and operational visibility
- Android applications for use in the field
- Authentication, access control, encryption, and secure data handling
- Data models and workflows representing the patient journey
- Interfaces designed for clarity, consistency, and correctness under pressure

What we are looking for
- Strong experience as a full stack engineer in production environments
- Solid working knowledge of Node.js and React
- Experience developing Android applications (or willingness to learn)
- Good understanding of application security and data handling
- Ability to reason about failure modes, data integrity, and misuse
- Curiosity and disciplined engineering judgment
