The role

We're hiring a full-stack engineer to take ownership of Minut's guest experience surface: the messaging flows, the guest app, and the smart integrations that turn a Minut sensor into something that delights guests.

Today, this layer handles millions of requests per hour from web, mobile, API clients, and sensors. Tomorrow it needs to carry 10x that, across more partners, with the same latency and the same reliability that lets us detect fires and noise incidents in time to prevent real damage.

You'll be on the team owning this surface end-to-end. If in twelve months a property manager with a 2000-unit portfolio onboards to Minut and has a rules engine, a partner sync, and a real-time alert pipeline that all just work, that was you.

What you'll do

  • The automations and rules engine that property managers use to turn sensor events into delightful guest experiences.
  • AI agents that build, facilitate, and help property managers deliver better guest experiences without having to be hands-on 24/7 themselves.
  • The partner integrations layer. Designing and shipping new PMS and hospitality integrations: schema, sync strategy, auth, rate limits, the whole surface. Each one opens a market segment.
  • The web app surfaces that expose all of the above. You'll write React and ship UI, not hand it off.
  • The production system end-to-end. Your code, your deploys, your dashboards, your on-call. We don't have a separate ops team to throw things over a wall to.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you bring

  • You've built and operated high-traffic systems in the cloud before, at more than one company. You know what breaks at 1M+ requests/hour because you've had to fix it on a Tuesday.
  • You're AI-native in how you work. We pay for Claude Code, Cursor, or whatever tool makes you fastest. No cap, no approval process. We expect you to be shipping meaningfully more than an engineer who isn't using these tools, and we'll talk about what that looks like in the interview.
  • You're fluent in TypeScript and Node, and you write React when a feature needs a UI. You don't wait for a frontend engineer to pick up your ticket.
  • You've designed APIs that other teams or external partners consume, and you know what makes one pleasant versus painful to integrate against.
  • You operate as a product owner, not a ticket-taker. When the spec is ambiguous, you talk to customers or read the data rather than waiting for someone to write it down.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Swedish is not required.

Tech stack

  • Frontend: React
  • Backend: Node / TypeScript
  • Cloud: AWS
  • DevOps & tooling: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Grafana, etc

The team you'll join

20+ engineers across product, platform, mobile, firmware, and ML. People come from Google, Axis, Jayway, and a mix of startups. The team built the on-sensor ML pipeline that does cigarette smoke and noise classification without sending audio off-device, which is the hard version of the problem, and the reason our product is different from everyone else's. You'll be working next to the people who built that.
