Digital Engineering | Banking Technology

Wipro is looking for a Full Stack Java Engineer to join our digital engineering team supporting a leading global banking client. As the Full Stack Java Engineer, you will help design, build, and enhance secure, scalable enterprise applications that support critical business services. You will work alongside talented engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver modern technology solutions within a highly regulated environment.

Your responsibilities

As a Full Stack Java Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and support secure enterprise applications
  • Build microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven solutions, and responsive user interfaces
  • Champion DevSecOps practices and secure software development standards
  • Implement CI/CD controls, automated testing, and quality engineering practices
  • Own and deliver complex technical assignments while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Mandatory skills

You will have strong expertise in:

  • Java and Spring Boot development
  • React-based front-end engineering
  • Kafka and event-driven architectures
  • Oracle database technologies
  • DevSecOps, CI/CD, and test automation practices
  • TOGAF or SAFe certification

Desirable skills

Ideally, you will be familiar with:

  • Secure coding principles and application security controls
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) frameworks
  • Microservices and distributed systems architecture
  • Financial services or other regulated industry environments

Additional information

Candidates holding TOGAF or SAFe certifications may be considered in place of Karat assessments, subject to project and client requirements.
