We are working with a leading crypto-native algorithmic trading firm looking to hire an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join its London team.
This is a frontend-leaning full stack role, where you'll build sophisticated, high-performance applications used by traders, clients, and internal teams.
The majority of your focus will be across React and TypeScript, building complex interfaces around real-time trading and market data. However, you'll also work across the stack and will need previous backend exposure to Python and/or Go.
What You'll Be Working On
- Building sophisticated applications using React and TypeScript
- Developing intuitive interfaces for traders and clients
- Building dashboards and applications displaying real-time trading and market data
- Handling asynchronous and streaming data within browser-based applications
- Integrating with REST and WebSocket APIs
- Designing reusable frontend components and scalable application architecture
- Working across the backend where required using Python and/or Go
- Contributing to backend services, APIs, and data models
- Improving application performance, reliability, and security
- Working closely with traders, product teams, and other engineers
- Taking ownership of features from initial idea through to production

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' software engineering experience
- Strong commercial experience with React
- Excellent JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience building complex, data-intensive web applications
- Previous backend development experience with Python and/or Go
- Experience working with REST and WebSocket APIs
- Experience handling real-time or streaming data
- Good understanding of relational databases and data modelling
- Understanding of frontend performance and secure application development
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
- Familiarity with containers, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging
We're looking for someone who is strongest on the frontend, but is comfortable moving across the stack when required. This isn't a pure frontend position β you'll need to understand and contribute to the backend systems powering the applications you build.

Experience within crypto, fintech, trading, or financial markets would be advantageous, but isn't essential. An interest in algorithmic trading and digital assets is highly valued.

Salary: Β£140,000 - Β£170,000 / 50% - 100% Bonus +
