Build the technology behind the teams transforming construction
At XYZ Reality, we’ve created the world’s first engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for construction. Our product, The Atom, is used on major projects worldwide to bring designs to life on-site and help teams build more accurately, efficiently and with fewer mistakes.
As a Series B business scaling across the UK, US and Europe, we’re not only evolving the technology our customers use, we’re also investing in the tools and applications that enable our own teams to operate effectively as we grow.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to take ownership of the internal applications, dashboards and AI-enabled tools that help power XYZ Reality behind the scenes.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building useful products, solving real business problems and owning what they create from idea through to production.
As XYZ has grown, teams across the business have increasingly developed applications, dashboards, automations and AI-enabled tools to solve problems and improve how they work. We now need an engineer who can bring technical ownership to this space – taking promising ideas and prototypes and turning them into secure, scalable and maintainable applications.
You’ll work directly with teams across XYZ to understand what they need, translate those requirements into technical solutions and build applications that people across the business will genuinely use.
Because these tools can interact with employee, user and potentially customer data, you’ll also ensure they are built and deployed properly, with security, maintainability and appropriate engineering standards considered from the outset.
This is a role with plenty of autonomy. You’ll own applications end-to-end, from architecture and data model through to UI, deployment, monitoring and ongoing iteration.
And when internal priorities allow, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your Full Stack skills to our wider product engineering team and the technology behind XYZ Reality’s engineering-grade AR platform.
The role is based in London on a hybrid basis, ideally 2–3 days per week in the office, enabling you to work directly with the teams you’ll be building for while retaining flexibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders and turning their requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Able to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and take ownership of the applications you build.
- Experience within a startup, scale-up or modern technology environment would be particularly valuable, as would experience with Postgres/SQL, row-level security, data visualisation, reporting or workflow automation.
