Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript, AI/LLM)
London | £80,000 - £120,000 | Hybrid, 3 days onsite
We're partnering with an AI-native software company building mission-critical tools for frontline public sector teams. Their users work in high-pressure environments where slow, fragmented systems cost time that matters. They're replacing that with a single, intelligent platform built around how people actually work.
They're now hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join as an early member of a small engineering team, someone who wants real ownership of the product from day one rather than a backlog handed down to them.
What you'll be doing
- Owning features end to end, from talking to users and forming your own view on what to build through to shipping in production
- Building LLM-powered and real-time features that go beyond simple prompting, including voice and live data workflows
- Building across a modern TypeScript stack (React, Next.js, Node, NestJS) backed by Postgres and AWS
- Working directly with the founders, with real influence over technical and product direction

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI systems, not just using AI tools day to day
- Someone who thinks in user problems first and technical solutions second
