Full Stack Software Engineer | Java, React & AWS

🚀 Join us as a Full Stack Software Engineer and help shape, build and support modern cloud-based applications in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

🔒 Security Requirements: Due to the nature of our public sector work, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC). Existing SC clearance is highly desirable but not essential.

We're looking for a proactive, adaptable engineer who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable taking ownership across the full software delivery lifecycle. Rather than specialising in one area, you'll be a true full-stack engineer, happy to work across backend development, frontend applications, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production support.

What you'll be working with

  • ✅ Java & Spring Boot
  • ✅ React & TypeScript
  • ✅ AWS (including CloudFront, S3 & Kubernetes)
  • ✅ CI/CD & deployment automation
  • ✅ Modern cloud-native architectures

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
