Full Stack AI Engineer | Production AI for NHS England, Network Rail and more

London (1 day a week) | £70,000 to £75,000

If you're looking for a Full Stack Engineer role where:

  • You ship production AI that goes into daily use inside some of the largest organisations in the country, not pilots that die in a sandbox
  • You're the main engineer on the applications you build, owning them end to end rather than picking up a slice someone else scoped
  • You work close enough to the founder to learn the commercial and organisational side most engineers never get near

This is that role.

I'm exclusively hiring a Full Stack Engineer for a London AI consultancy building bespoke AI applications for enterprise and public sector clients including NHS England, Network Rail, BP, Legal & General and Jaguar Land Rover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your work day to day: building AI applications in Python and FastAPI with React and TypeScript on the front, deployed across Azure. Agentic workflows, RAG, document processing and redaction through Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.

  • You'd own the Azure infrastructure, pipelines and security model underneath your applications
  • You'd be in the client conversations rather than receiving a spec third-hand
  • Their engagements run long, so you see programmes go from design through build to live

The founder you'll work with daily bootstrapped this from nothing to a client book most consultancies take a decade to build.

His background is operational excellence and transformation rather than engineering, which means the technical ownership is genuinely yours, and what you pick up from him is how AI actually gets adopted inside large organisations. That's the part most engineers never learn.
