Full Stack Software Engineer (Java / React)
Milton Keynes | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
£60,000 - £76,500 | Permanent
We're recruiting for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing technology team delivering complex, enterprise-scale software solutions within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications.
- Build front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop APIs and back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
- Java and Spring Boot development experience.
- React and TypeScript/JavaScript expertise.
- Experience designing and developing APIs.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with Docker and Linux environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Python development experience.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure.
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
- Experience within secure or highly regulated environments.

- Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC), typically requiring British nationality and five years of continuous UK residency.
