Job Title: Mid-Level Java Developer – Java / Kafka / Full Stack
Location: London UK
Experience: Min 5+ Years of Professional experience across JAVA Full Stack Engineering space.
Work type: Hybrid, 3 days/Week, Onsite is mandatory.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Developer with strong hands-on experience across Java, Kafka and full-stack development.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java backend development, experience building REST APIs and microservices, and practical exposure to Kafka/event-driven architecture. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate their technical capability through strong, substantial projects rather than relying solely on years of commercial experience.

This is an opportunity for a technically strong developer to work on modern distributed applications and contribute across both backend and full-stack development.
Must-Have Skills
- Java – strong hands-on development experience
- Apache Kafka – practical experience with event-driven / asynchronous systems
- Full-Stack Development – backend plus frontend development experience
- Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle
- Git and modern software development practices
- Good understanding of software design and development principles
- At least one strong technical project demonstrating real development capability
