About Bettormetrics
Bettormetrics is building the intelligence layer that helps sportsbook operators make better trading decisions. Our platform processes and analyses vast amounts of pricing, market availability, suspension and operational data, helping some of the industry’s leading operators and suppliers understand where they are underperforming, why it is happening and how they can improve.
We are investing in the next generation of our platform, broadening the datasets and use cases we support, and putting artificial intelligence at the heart of both how we build software and the products we deliver. Our ambition is to rethink how trading intelligence is generated, surfaced and acted upon.
We are backed by experienced investors who share our long-term ambition, and we have an established product, recognised customers and a growing commercial pipeline.
Why join now?
We’re looking for someone who wants to help build a company, not just write code. The foundations are in place, but the most exciting stage of growth is still ahead of us. You’ll join a small, ambitious team where your work will have immediate impact and where you can take genuine ownership of the product, architecture and technical direction.
You’ll work directly with the founders and senior team, help shape our engineering culture and influence how Bettormetrics develops as we scale. If you’re excited by AI, data, sport and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing technology business, we’d love to hear from you.
The role
We are looking for a frontend-focused Full-Stack Engineer to build the data-rich applications at the heart of the Bettormetrics Trading Analytics Platform.
Most of your work will be in React and TypeScript. You will design intuitive ways to explore complex data, build interactive visualisations and analytical tools, and improve our frontend architecture. You will also contribute to our C#/.NET backend when features require new APIs, data access or service behaviour.
You do not need equal expertise across the entire stack. We are looking for strong frontend engineering judgement, along with the ability and interest to deliver features through the API and data layers when needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You’ll:
- Build and evolve React and TypeScript applications that help sportsbook teams analyse performance and make better decisions.
- Create intuitive dashboards, visualisations and workflows from complex, high-volume and real-time data.
- Design high-performance, responsive user experiences for large and frequently changing datasets.
- Work closely with product, engineering and trading teams to turn ambiguous problems into practical, customer-focused solutions.
- Own features end-to-end, from design and development through testing, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Help shape frontend architecture, engineering standards, performance and maintainability.
- Contribute across the stack where needed, including C#/.NET services and APIs.
- Use modern engineering practices, including automated testing, observability, CI/CD and AI-assisted development tools.
- Bring strong technical judgement, clear communication and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving improvements.
- Ideally have experience with technologies such as Azure, SignalR/WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, distributed systems or cloud-hosted SaaS applications. Experience in sports betting or trading systems is beneficial but not required.
Our technology stack
You’ll work with modern technologies across our frontend, backend, data and cloud infrastructure. We choose technology pragmatically. We favour tools that help us solve customer problems, improve quality and accelerate delivery over adopting technology for its own sake.
Our current stack includes:
- React
- TypeScript
- C#
- ASP.NET Core
- SQL Server
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- GitHub
- Azure DevOps
We continually evolve our technology stack and encourage engineers to introduce new ideas, tools and approaches where they add value.
Our culture
We're building an engineering team that combines strong technical ability with ownership, curiosity and commercial thinking. You'll thrive at Bettormetrics if you enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems collaboratively and continuously improving both the product and the way we work. We optimise for impact, not activity. We care more about solving important problems than simply producing more code. Good ideas can come from anyone. We encourage people to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity and constantly look for better ways to create value for our customers and our business.

Some of the principles that guide us include:
- Ownership: We expect engineers to take responsibility from idea through to production, continuously improving what they build.
- Product thinking: We start and end with the commercial problem or customer need. Technology is the means, not the objective: we use it to solve the right problems, deliver measurable value and improve outcomes for our customers.
- AI-driven mindset: We believe AI will fundamentally change how software is built and how our customers work. We expect every engineer to embrace AI as part of both software development and product innovation.
- Continuous learning: We value curiosity, experimentation and sharing knowledge across the team.
- Low ego, high trust: We challenge ideas respectfully, support one another and work together to achieve the best outcomes.
- Commercial awareness: We seek to understand the wider business context, priorities and trade-offs behind our work, not only the technical requirements.
What success looks like - and the impact you can have
By joining Bettormetrics, you will have the opportunity to:
- Become a trusted technical owner of significant areas of the Bettormetrics platform, with real influence over its architecture, user experience and future direction.
- Help shape one of the most exciting products at the intersection of sport, data and artificial intelligence.
- Improve the quality, performance, scalability and maintainability of the platform as our customer base and data coverage expand.
- Become an important part of Bettormetrics’ growth story.
Remuneration
We recognise exceptional people come from a wide range of backgrounds and locations. Remuneration will reflect your experience, capability and the impact you can have on Bettormetrics. In addition to salary, we offer performance-related bonus and the opportunity to participate in the long-term success of the company. We are more interested in finding exceptional people than someone who ticks every box. If you are excited by what we are building and believe you can make a significant contribution, we would love to hear from you.
