About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Full Stack Developer to join our client's vibrant team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of their customer-facing platforms, involving hands-on technical leadership from the initial design stages through to production deployment. The successful candidate will work within a modern cloud-based stack, deploying updates and new features on a daily basis in a live environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor a high-performing development squad. The role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in full stack development, with over 10 years of experience in the field. They should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, demonstrating proficiency in building scalable and maintainable systems. A solid understanding of system design principles, architecture patterns, and SaaS platform development is essential. Candidates must have experience working in mature CI/CD environments, emphasizing automation, security, and continuous deployment. A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and real-world experience is required. Additionally, excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and a keen interest in leveraging AI for software development are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of projects within a high-performing development team, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
- Contribute to solution design, system architecture, and domain modeling to create robust and scalable platforms.
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and address complex or uncertain technical challenges through spikes and experimentation.
- Break down business requirements into well-defined epics and user stories, collaborating closely with product and initiative managers.
- Write and deliver production-ready code across the full technology stack, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure the software developed meets high standards of quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support and optimize live systems post-deployment, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Influence and shape the technical direction, tooling, and engineering practices across the wider team.
