About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge digital products used by commercial teams to better understand and engage with their customers. Based within a modern, cloud-based environment, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of customer-facing platforms. This position is hybrid, offering flexibility within Midlands or South regions, and involves hands-on technical leadership from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will possess extensive full-stack development experience, particularly with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development with over 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years specializing in JavaScript and TypeScript. A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent practical background is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of system design, scalable architectures, and experience building large SaaS platforms for production environments. Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) is required. A commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and design patterns is crucial. Excellent collaboration skills, stakeholder engagement, and a commercial mindset are also necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across a high-performing development team of 10+ members, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
- Contribute to solution design, system architecture, and domain modeling to support scalable and robust platforms.
- Build proof-of-concepts and spike complex or uncertain areas to validate approaches and inform decision-making.
- Break down requirements into manageable epics and user stories in collaboration with product and initiative managers.
- Develop and deliver production-ready code across the full technology stack, maintaining high standards of quality and security.
- Support and enhance live systems post-deployment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Influence technical strategy, tooling, and best practices across the wider engineering team to foster continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, including AI, to incorporate innovative solutions into development processes.
