Full Stack Software Engineer (Frontend-leaning)

Salary

£80k-£100k + Equity

Company Description

Caribou is a YC-backed London startup, funded by Accel and Lakestar, building an autonomous tax platform to simplify complex international compliance. By automating Transfer Pricing, Caribou makes Big Four expertise accessible to global businesses, replacing manual translation of dense jurisdiction-specific data with elegant, actionable software for finance leaders.

Job Description

You will lead the evolution of Caribou's user interface, transforming complex international tax rules into intuitive data visualizations for CFOs. In practice, you'll own features end-to-end—from Postgres migrations to building data-dense entity graphs—ensuring high UI craft while leveraging AI tools to ship at a scale that shouldn't be possible for a small team.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join a YC W19 batch company backed by elite investors including Accel and Lakestar, working directly with the founder and CTO.
  • Solve a high-value information design problem where you turn dense, interlinked global tax data into legible, actionable insights for finance leaders.
  • Work in a high-leverage environment that embraces AI-driven development and rewards engineers who balance product judgement with technical craft.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
