Job Description
You will lead software engineering at About:Energy, owning a production multi-tenant SaaS platform while building next-generation AI and agentic capabilities. Working closely with the founders, you will manage production reliability, design new LLM-driven features, and shape the future of the engineering team as the company scales its revolutionary battery data infrastructure.

What You Will Do
- Own the reliability and performance of a production SaaS platform built on Next.js, Go, and AWS serverless infrastructure.
- Design and ship new AI and agentic features, taking them from initial prototype through to live production for global enterprise customers.
- Act as a trusted technical partner to the founders, shaping engineering best practices and advising on the future growth of the team.
The ideal candidate
- Senior full-stack expertise in TypeScript and React with a proven track record of owning production SaaS platforms for paying customers.
- Strong technical depth in AWS serverless environments and relational database management, including schema design and safe migrations.
- Professional fluency in AI-assisted development tools and experience integrating LLMs, prompt design, and agentic workflows into production features.
