About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual contributor role is pivotal in designing, engineering, deploying, and managing the architecture for key financial products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-centric technology stacks, AWS serverless and microservices architectures, and data management solutions tailored for financial applications. The role involves leading technical discussions, setting architectural standards, and ensuring the seamless integration of innovative solutions to meet business objectives. The Principal Full Stack Software Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence technical strategies, and champion best practices in software development and architecture. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that drive the future of financial technology and data management solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of experience in software design and development
- Deep expertise in software architecture, management practices, and development processes
- Proficiency in Java-centric technology stacks for web-based applications
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, particularly serverless and microservices architectures
- Advanced skills in SQL databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including SQL tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with OLAP databases like Snowflake is a plus
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proven leadership ability to influence and guide teams across organizational levels
- Comprehensive understanding of business functions, processes, and strategic goals
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Lead the design roadmap, technical discussions, and development efforts for the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with corporate enterprise standards, policies, and best practices
- Develop, implement, and promote design and coding standards to maintain high-quality software
- Lead the development and deployment of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions aligned with business needs
- Manage day-to-day work of technical staff or serve as project manager for significant projects
- Provide architecture expertise to business and development teams to facilitate informed decision-making
- Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance product offerings
- Champion best practices in software development, testing, and deployment processes
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business strategies and operational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects on time and within scope
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

- Competitive salary range between $175,000 and $195,000 USD, commensurate with experience and skills
