Job Purpose
N3 Technologies is the Cornerstone Group company behind the N3 Platform, an intelligent SaaS solution for project estimation, monitoring, and reporting. We help organizations move away from spreadsheet chaos and into confident, data-driven project delivery. We're growing fast and building a team of people who are as ambitious as us to innovate the industry.
The Full Stack Software Engineer will join our platform team. You'll be working across the full stack, from crafting intuitive React interfaces to building robust NestJS APIs and playing a meaningful role in the continued development and maintenance of the N3 Platform.
This is a Full-time / Permanent position (Hybrid/Remote UK Based) but we will consider an initial contract. Ideally based in the Birmingham or Worcester office and willingness to travel between offices as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across the N3 Platform frontend and backend.
- Write clean, well-tested TypeScript/JavaScript code across React and NestJS.
- Work with PostgreSQL (Supabase) for data modelling and query optimization.
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting platform deployments.
- Collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Review code and support fellow engineers through collaboration and mentoring.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript — both frontend and backend.
- Experience with React and modern frontend tooling.
- Backend experience with Node.js frameworks (NestJS preferred).
- Comfortable working with Prisma + PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, and queries.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, ECR, CloudFront, or similar).
- Understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable
- Experience with Prisma ORM.
- Familiarity with Supabase or similar managed Postgres platforms.
- Exposure to Docker and containerized deployment workflows.
