Full Stack Software Engineer

Full Stack Software Engineer with a proven track record of building enterprise, highly scalable data platforms is sought on a hybrid basis by a market leading software house with offices across the UK.

Role Overview

You will work across the full technology stack, developing APIs and microservices, building scalable data pipelines, and creating modern front-end applications whilst helping deliver highly available, secure, and scalable platforms in a highly autonomous, knowledge share driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on their event sourced cloud native micro-services architecture whilst working full stack (node, JavaScript, Typescript, python) within this DevOps (Kubernetes, docker, CI/CD) environment.
  • Develop APIs and microservices.
  • Build scalable data pipelines.
  • Create modern front-end applications.

Key Skills

  • Strong commercial full stack engineering capabilities – node, Typescript, Python, Java etc.
  • Solid front end understanding – React, Next, Vue.js etc.
  • Experience building scalable pipelines (Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt etc).
  • Experience building data lakes, data warehouses, and/or real-time streaming solutions would be a real plus.
  • Strong API and microservices development experience.
  • Cloud-native development experience within Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD experience using GitHub and ArgoCD.
  • Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure.
  • Database experience, ideally PostgreSQL.
