Full-Stack Software Engineer

.NET / C# / React | Farringdon (Onsite) | £60k-£100k + EMI

I'm working with a profitable, product-led InsurTech startup that's looking for Full Stack Engineers to join its growing engineering team.

They're around 23 people, with a small, high-calibre engineering team, and have reached an exciting point in their growth. With several large contracts in the pipeline, they're now scaling both the team and the platform, moving from hundreds of active users towards potentially 10,000+ daily users.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants genuine ownership rather than simply picking up tickets.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a team of around eight engineers, working closely with the CTO and co-founder. This is not an environment where engineers are handed small tickets and expected to simply implement them. You’ll be trusted to understand problems, make sensible technical decisions and take features from initial idea through to production.

The platform currently supports hundreds of active users, with significant growth expected over the coming years. The technical challenges are therefore becoming increasingly interesting, from scalability and performance through to architecture, integrations, automation and AI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You could be working across:

  • Core platform development
  • New customer-facing experiences and extranets
  • Document functionality and processing
  • Integrations with external systems
  • AI and agent-based functionality
  • Performance and scalability
  • Architecture and infrastructure
  • Improving existing products as the customer base grows

Tech Stack

  • C# / .NET 10
  • SQL / T-SQL
  • Azure
  • React
  • AI / agent technology
  • Document processing

They’re particularly interested in engineers who are strong across the stack but naturally lean towards backend engineering. AI experience is a bonus rather than a requirement.

What They Are Looking For

  • Has roughly 3–7 years' software engineering experience
  • Has worked in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Is genuinely full stack, ideally backend-leaning
  • Can demonstrate the impact of the products/features they've built
  • Takes ownership from idea through to production
  • Enjoys working in a fast-moving, product-led environment
  • InsurTech experience isn't required. FinTech, SaaS or other complex product environments would translate really well.

The Culture

This is a small, highly collaborative engineering team where you'll work directly with senior technical leadership.

The CTO is hands-on when needed but gives engineers significant autonomy. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to influence how things are built rather than simply following an established process.

The company is also deliberately office-based. They believe being together is important for collaboration, product development and the culture they're building, so five days a week in the office.

What's On Offer?

  • £60,000–£100,000 depending on experience
  • EMI equity options
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Three-month probation
  • Opportunity to work directly with the CTO and founding team
  • Significant technical ownership
  • The chance to help scale a product from hundreds of users towards thousands

If you're a product-minded Full Stack Engineer who wants to join an early-stage company where you'll have a genuine influence on the product and technical direction, please apply now!
