We're looking for x2 Senior API Developers to join them for the journey.
This isn't about maintaining a finished platform.
You'll be joining while the next generation of it is being built. 🚀

You'll work on the APIs and backend services at the heart of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform while contributing to a significant engineering transformation.
A major modernisation programme is underway, moving functionality from a legacy PHP / Symfony environment towards a modern Go / Golang architecture.
You'll be right in the middle of it.
- Building new services.
- Modernising existing systems.
- Solving scalability challenges.
- Improving reliability.
- Influencing technical decisions.
- Helping build a platform capable of supporting international growth.

🌳 What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and building high-quality APIs and backend services
- Developing modern services using Go / Golang
- Helping transition legacy functionality from PHP / Symfony into Go
- Building technology capable of supporting rapid growth and international expansion
- Working with modern AWS cloud infrastructure
- Working across Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Using logs, metrics and monitoring to continuously improve production systems
- Building clean, maintainable and well-tested software
- Solving performance, scalability and reliability challenges
- Contributing to architecture and technical direction
- Reviewing code and sharing knowledge with other engineers
- Improving engineering practices and developer experience
- Using modern AI development tools to improve the way software is built
🌳 Who Are We Looking For?
We're interested in experienced:
- Senior API Developers
- Senior Backend Engineers
- Golang Developers
- Senior Software Engineers
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong commercial software engineering experience
- Commercial Go / Golang experience
- Excellent API and backend engineering knowledge
- Experience with AWS or modern cloud environments
- Understanding of scalable and service-based architectures
- Strong automated testing and software quality practices
- Experience working in modern Agile engineering teams
- Confidence contributing to technical and architectural discussions
- Experience modernising or evolving existing technology would be hugely valuable
- A pragmatic, collaborative approach to engineering

Fully remote means fully remote.
There are offices in Bristol, London and on the South Coast, but you won't be expected to commute into one every week.
Instead, the team gets together once per month for collaboration, planning and some actual face-to-face time.
✈️ All required travel for the monthly meetup is fully expensed.
