Job Description
As a Care Assistant, you will provide a blend of practical support and meaningful companionship. Your daily duties will include:
- Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Daily Living: Meal preparation, medication assistance, and light household tasks.
- Companionship: Building strong relationships, emotional support, pet care, and accompanying clients to social outings or appointments.
Full-Time Working Hours
This is a dedicated full-time position designed to provide consistency for both you and our clients. To support our clients' daily routines, your schedule will include a variety of shifts across:
- Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings
- Alternate Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work every other weekend is essential to ensure continuous care.
Why it works: We prioritise regular clients to ensure continuity of care. You will even receive paid introductions to your clients before your first official care visit so you can start building a bond right away.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: £13.00 to £14.00 per hour
- Paid Travel Time: You are compensated for the time you spend traveling between clients.
- Mileage Allowance: 45p per mile.
- Holiday & Pension: 28 days of paid holiday and enrollment in our company pension scheme.
- No Experience Needed: Full, comprehensive training is provided. We hire for attitude and train for skill!

Qualifications
Requirements
To excel in this role, you don't need years of prior care experience we provide full training. However, because this is a full-time community role, the following are essential:
- Values & Approach: You must have a caring, reliable, and professional approach to supporting older adults.
- Independence: The ability to work confidently and independently in a client's home environment.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work full-time hours across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including alternate weekends (essential for continuity of care).
- Driving Licence & Vehicle: A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential, as you will be traveling to clients across beautiful but rural locations.
- Location: You must live within a reasonable traveling distance of Pewsey (SN9) or the surrounding East Wiltshire/Test Valley areas.

- Vetting: An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and professional references are required.
- Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK.
- Sponsorship: Please note, we do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
