About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for an HGV Driver looking for full-time, Monday to Friday work in Inverness, this is offered on a temp to permanent position.
You’ll work alongside another driver on longer-distance runs, sharing the driving approximately 50/50. The role also includes Drivers Mate duties and manual handling, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to get involved and isn’t looking for a driving-only position. £16.80 per hour, Early starts and no weekends and an immediate start available.

What We Offer

Typical Duties May Include
- Driving Class 2 vehicles within the Highland and Aberdeenshire area
- Sharing driving responsibilities 50/50 with the other driver
- Working as a Drivers Mate when not driving
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out manual handling, including moving and handling goods safely
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Completing relevant vehicle and delivery paperwork
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Following drivers’ hours, Working Time and road safety regulations
- Providing a professional and helpful service when completing deliveries
- Working closely with your driving partner to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (HGV) Licence
- CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, TT or IN convictions)
- CITB H&S or equivalent
