Role Description

You will be responsible for safely transporting camera, grip, and related equipment between the North Acton site, client locations, production sets, and partner facilities. This on-site role includes loading and unloading vans, verifying orders against delivery notes, and ensuring equipment is handled with care to maintain its condition. The Driver will maintain accurate delivery records, follow scheduled routes and timelines, and communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients regarding delivery status or issues. Additional day-to-day tasks may include basic vehicle checks, reporting maintenance needs, supporting warehouse staff with equipment organisation, and upholding VMI TV’s standards for customer service and professionalism.

  • Candidates should possess strong Van Driving skills and experience operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and clients.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to represent the company positively during pickups and deliveries.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with basic vehicle and safety checks and adherence to road and transport regulations.
  • Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the ability to follow delivery schedules and procedures.
  • Physical ability to safely lift, move, and secure camera and grip equipment as part of daily duties.
  • Previous experience in logistics, delivery driving, or work within film/TV production environments is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work full time on-site in North Acton and maintain a professional, safety-focused approach at all times.
