About the Role
Job Title: Cleaners
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Cleaners to join our dynamic team, making an impact in our luxurious state-of-the-art facility in Kensington, UK.
Responsibilities
Your role as a Cleaner will include but is not limited to:
- Ensuring the club and exercise equipment are clean, well-maintained, and ready for members, prospective members, and guests—with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining a presentable sidewalk entrance and lobby area.
- Cleaning locker rooms and ensuring consistent stocking of locker room consumables.
- Delegation of cleaning and organizing responsibilities across storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
- Keeping the exercise floor supplied with an adequate amount of towels.
- Performing maintenance tasks for all equipment.
- Receiving and storing all deliveries.
- Supporting special events (as required).
- Notifying the Housekeeping Manager of any immediate room or equipment repairs needed.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must:
- Be available to work 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
- Possess prior experience in cleaning and laundry services (preferred for high standards).
- Have the ability to maintain athletic equipment, including familiarity with cleaning products and hand tools.
- Exhibit strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities—key to the high-performance culture here at Equinox.
