Trafford Leisure has a new opportunity for a Full-Time Lifeguard to join the team.

Location: Stretford Leisure Centre
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (full-time)
Job Type: Permanent
Rate: £13.60 per hour

Please note: to be eligible for this role, you must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be able to commit to full-time hours on a permanent basis.

About The Role

As a Lifeguard, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every customer has a safe, enjoyable and positive experience when visiting our centre.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensuring the safety of all swimming customers by providing vigilant lifeguard support.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Meeting and greeting customers and checking them into activities.
  • Setting up activity areas and equipment to meet programme requirements.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.

To Be Successful in This Role

You’ll Have

  • A valid Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hours

This position is 36.25 hours per week, averaged across a rolling rota which includes morning, evening and weekend shifts.
