Job Title: Scalp /Head Spa therapist
Job Level: Junior / Intermediate
Department: Operations Department – Salon
Rate: RM 2,500 - RM 3,500 + Guaranteed Commission!
Location: Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Working days: 5-6 days a week
Overall Job Objectives
As a Scalp /Head Spa therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' overall hair and scalp health. The therapist will be responsible for creating customized treatment plans based on individual client needs, promoting hair and scalp health, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide scalp treatments, perform professional hair scalp analysis for customers, including shampoo, blow-dry, basic head massage, and related services
- Recommend hair and scalp care products, treatments, and packages to customers.
- Provide the right solution to the customer by consulting, listening, and applying technical know-how
- Communicate and advise what is best for the client's interest
- Maintains spa and treatment room appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards according to standard operating procedures
- Provide excellent service and create exceptional experiences for customers

Job Specifications
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company
- At least 6 months - 1 year related experience as a Scalp Consultant or in a similar role within the beauty industry
- Professional certificate is a plus
- Excellent customer service & sensitivity to customers’ needs and paying attention to details.
- Positive attitude and cheerful
- Service oriented and well-groomed
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
- Able to work on shifting schedules, weekend and public holiday

Key Deliverables
- Deliver head spa treatments (scalp massages, hair treatments, etc.) in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure thorough consultations to accurately assess client needs, offering solutions tailored to their scalp and hair health.
- Actively promote and recommend hair and scalp care products to clients, contributing to retail sales targets.
