Job Title: Full-Time Permanent Nanny

Job Details:

  • Days & Hours Required: Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm | 50 hours per week
  • Start Date: November
  • Location: South Kensington, SW7
  • Ages of Children: 5 months and 4 years old
  • Salary: £20–£23 gross per hour | £52,000–£59,800 annual gross

Overview:

A lovely family based in South Kensington is looking for an experienced and nurturing Full-Time Nanny to join them in November, allowing time for the nanny to settle in with the family before Mum returns to work at the end of the month.

The nanny's primary responsibility during the day will be the family's 5-month-old baby, so strong and recent newborn/baby experience is essential. The family is looking for someone who is confident with this stage of development, including feeding routines, naps, weaning, introducing solids and developmental milestones.

The nanny will also collect the family's 4-year-old from school at approximately 3:00pm, taking sole charge of both children for the remainder of the afternoon. On Fridays, the eldest finishes school at 12:00pm, so the nanny will care for both children for a longer period.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The family would particularly value someone who is looking for a long-term position, and candidates who demonstrate good longevity and commitment to previous families will be preferred.

Duties:

During the day, the nanny will take full responsibility for the baby's routine, including feeds, naps, changing and dressing, weaning and meal preparation, age-appropriate developmental activities, classes, walks and outings.

The nanny will also manage standard nursery duties, including the children's laundry, keeping toys and children's areas organised, preparing healthy meals and snacks, and keeping bottles, feeding equipment and children's belongings clean and organised.

School pick-up for the eldest will usually be at approximately 3:00pm, with a 12:00pm finish on Fridays. The school is a couple of Tube stops away, and the nearest station is approximately a 4-minute walk from the family home.
