About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Senior Ranger to take ownership of the practical habitat management, infrastructure maintenance, and operational supervision at the Wisley Acres SANG. You will ensure the green space remains safe, highly attractive, and rich in biodiversity, helping divert recreational pressure away from sensitive protected sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Habitat Management: Execute hands-on maintenance across woodland, grassland, acid grassland, and wetland habitats.
- Estate Maintenance: Inspect and repair site infrastructure, including fences, gates, paths, signage, and wildlife features.
- Supervision & Coordination: Provide day-to-day operational guidance to the SANG Warden(s) and supervise specialist contractors.
- Wetland & SuDS Oversight: Maintain SuDS features, wetland margins, and manage invasive species.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety standards, risk assessments, and environmental regulations.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven background in countryside management, grounds maintenance, or conservation land management.
- Practical experience managing diverse habitats, including SuDS or wetland systems.
- Skilled in operating hand tools, machinery, and small plant safely.
- Ability to coordinate contractors and provide operational guidance to site staff.
- Chainsaw, brushcutter, pesticide (PA1/PA6), or outdoor First Aid qualifications are desirable.
