Flagship Stock Assistant (BOH)

This is an exciting opportunity to join POP MART ahead of the opening of a brand-new flagship store in London. Ahead of launch, the successful candidate will complete a training period of a few weeks at one of our existing stores (Charing Cross or Oxford Street) to build hands-on experience with our systems, standards, and team culture before helping to lead the new flagship from day one.

The Role and Candidate

The Flagship BOH Stock Assistant supports the back-of-house stock operation at our new flagship store, helping to keep the stockroom accurate, organised, and running smoothly so the sales floor is always ready to sell. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the BOH Stock Manager and the sales floor team to receive, process, and replenish stock efficiently across a large, multi-level retail space.

The position suits someone reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Flagship BOH Stock Assistant plays an important part in making sure product moves smoothly from delivery through to the shop floor, supporting the wider team's ability to deliver a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process deliveries, checking stock against packing slips and purchase orders, and flagging any damages or shortages.
  • Support stock accuracy by helping with cycle counts and physical stock checks.
  • Carry out putaway and stockroom organisation, labelling, and storing products correctly so items can be found and replenished quickly.
  • Security-tag stock and handle products carefully to avoid damage or loss.
  • Replenish the sales floor promptly, working closely with FOH colleagues to respond to stock requests.
  • Help maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready stockroom, following company best practice.
  • Support the processing of faulty stock and supplier returns.
  • Follow health and safety procedures in BOH areas, including keeping escape routes and walkways clear and reporting any hazards.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to store needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Some experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or back-of-house retail environment is helpful but not essential — full training is provided.
  • Reliable, organised, and detail-focused, with a hands-on approach to work.
  • Proactive and team-oriented, comfortable working closely with both BOH and FOH colleagues.
  • Fluent in professional English, with good verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active role within a high-volume retail environment.

Desirable But Not Essential

  • Knowledge of CEGID POS usage
  • Experience in the toy or collectibles industry
  • Multi-lingual language ability
