MAIN AIM:

Maintaining stockroom areas to company standard support the sales team. To serve customer and maintain high/luxury customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Taking ownership and providing support in all areas of stock related duties, across all departments in store. Including Ladies/Mens/Kids and Online – driven by ever-changing business needs on a day-to-day basis
  • SHOP FLOOR SUPPORT
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the brands stocked in store, the stockroom running order, ensuring immaculate housekeeping standards at all times
    • Control the communication process between shop floor and BOH teams to ensure a seamless operation – through operating the in-store radios
    • Thrive in working in a fast pace environment where the customers needs are at the forefront
    • Always maintaining a professional manner when on the shop floor
  • PUTTING DELIVERY AWAY
    • Always ensure stock is put away on relevant shelving and not on the stockroom floor, ensuring that the bar-code labels are clearly visible brand, in color, alphabet and size order, if required, and in compliance with the Manual Handling Regulations
    • Ensure that stocks from different departments are not mixed
    • Ensure careful handling of Company merchandise to prevent any unnecessary damage, maintaining a high standard of stock maintenance, including guidelines around SHOE BOX ETIQUETTE
    • Assist in the preparation for Branch stock takes
    • Ensure that the stockrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times, removing any empty boxes or rubbish as required
    • Assist in the housekeeping of the Branch interior and displays, when required
    • Ensure full awareness and knowledge of Company and Branch security procedures to help to protect the interests of the Company as regards Stock Management
    • Be fully aware of and comply with the Company Policies and operating Procedures as laid down by Kurt Geiger and host store requirements
    • Maintain a high standard of self-presentation at all times as laid down in the Company Business Dress Code and project the culture, image and professionalism of the organisation at all times
    • Maintain a good attendance and punctuality record
    • Carry out any reasonable request by the Branch Manager to ensure and assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Branch, including support across all departments for which you are responsible for
    • Liaise with all levels of staff and Management in a timely and efficient manner
    • Bring to the attention of the Manager any issues or concerns that may have a detrimental effect on the business, including any concerns around security
