ABOUT THE ALBION

The Albion is a welcoming and characterful Noble Inns venue, bringing together great food, quality drinks and genuine hospitality in a relaxed and vibrant setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Waiter to join our front-of-house team at The Albion. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences and wants to develop their career within Noble Inns. As part of Noble Inns, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills across our wider group and progress within the business.

THE ROLE

As a Waiter at The Albion, you will play an important role in creating the experience our guests remember. You will be responsible for providing warm, knowledgeable and attentive service from the moment guests arrive until they leave. You will work closely with the wider front-of-house, bar and kitchen teams to ensure every service runs smoothly and every guest receives the high standard of hospitality we expect. At The Albion, we want our guests to feel comfortable, welcomed and genuinely looked after. We are looking for someone who understands that great hospitality is about more than simply taking an order — it's about reading the table, anticipating needs, building relationships and creating an experience guests want to return to.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver consistently high standards of food, beverage and guest service.
  • Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and confidently communicate menu knowledge.
  • Understand and confidently explain dishes, ingredients, allergens and dietary requirements.
  • Make informed recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, wine, beverages and current promotions.
  • Anticipate guest needs and remain attentive throughout their experience.
  • Manage your section efficiently while supporting the wider team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen, bar, reservations and management teams.
  • Maintain excellent service standards during both quiet and high-volume periods.
  • Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised and presented to The Albion standards.
  • Manage table timings and turns efficiently without making guests feel rushed.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and confidently.
  • Follow all Noble Inns SOPs, service standards, health & safety and company procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties where required.
  • Support and develop other members of the team when appropriate.
  • Contribute positively to the culture, atmosphere and energy of The Albion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
