About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with active DV clearance to join our dynamic team in London, Bristol, or Manchester on a hybrid working basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure digital solutions tailored for Defence and Security clients. As a key member of the development team, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that support mission-critical operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product owners, designers, architects, and delivery teams, to create user-centric products, integrate modern technologies, and leverage cloud platforms and emerging technologies to enhance operational outcomes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full stack development, with experience in secure and regulated environments. Essential qualifications include proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies, excellent programming skills in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or Node.js, and familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications. Experience working within Agile environments, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, is crucial. An active DV clearance is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Create secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications and services aligned with client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, architects, and delivery teams to develop user-centered solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications to ensure seamless functionality and security.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, and technology selection to optimize system performance and security.
- Implement software engineering best practices, including conducting code reviews, automated testing, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application performance and security issues promptly.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, mentor junior team members, and promote knowledge sharing within the development team.
