Job Description
Role: Full-Stack Software Engineer
Salary: £50K - £60K (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site in Manchester

About The Role
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and ship high impact, user-facing features across React frontend and Python backend for our Tech Client.
In this role, you will work closely with product managers and designers to take features from technical design through release spanning API design, implementation, testing, and monitoring. You will also contribute to core platform infrastructure and cutting edge AI systems.
What You Will Do
- Core Systems and Features: Build and ship platform wide features that deliver direct value to users, maintaining a strong focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Product Driven Development: Translate product discovery insights and customer feedback into scalable platform features that solve real world problems
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Content, Sales, and Customer Success to understand user needs and ship end-to-end solutions
- Architecture and Scalability: Contribute to the design and architecture of new services, platform capabilities, and robust systems built to scale across enterprise customers
- Maintenance and Optimisation: Triage, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across the stack, focusing on root-cause analysis and long term performance

What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally using React/TypeScript and Django/Python
- End-to-End Ownership: Proven track record of shipping reliable, robust applications from technical design through deployment
- Strong Communication: Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with both technical peers and non-technical teams (Content, Sales, Customer Success)
- Engineering Fundamentals: Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design would be a plus
- AI tools: Good judgment and practical experience leveraging AI coding assistants effectively within your engineering workflow
