Full-Time Teaching Assistant: Long-Term Placements (West Sussex and Surrey)
Are you looking for a consistent, full-time classroom role that makes a real difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking dedicated and dependable Teaching Assistants to join our network of partner primary, secondary, and SEN schools across West Sussex and Surrey. This is your opportunity to enjoy steady, weekday work without the commitment of a permanent school contract.
What Your Role Will Involve
- Working full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) alongside class teachers to maintain smooth daily routines.
- Leading small group interventions in core literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
- Providing dedicated 1:1 learning support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language delays.
- Helping create an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment throughout the school day.
- Supporting classroom preparation, learning displays, and break-time monitoring.

Qualifications
- Full Monday to Friday availability during standard school hours.
- Prior experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care, or youth work).
- A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to pupil support.
- Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
- Right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across West Sussex and Surrey.
