Role Description
The Fully Qualified Electrician will work on-site across the Greater Leicester Area in a full-time capacity, carrying out a range of domestic and commercial electrical tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, lighting, sockets, consumer units, and related equipment.
- Diagnosing faults, testing and inspecting installations, and ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Interpreting technical drawings, planning materials and time requirements, and completing job documentation such as certificates and reports.
- Communicating clearly with customers, coordinating with colleagues, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications
- Recognized electrician qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, AM2, or equivalent) and current BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certification (18th Edition or above).
- Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding, including safe working practices and compliance with UK electrical standards.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications, with accurate testing, inspection, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Greater Leicester Area; ECS card or similar industry accreditation is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload independently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Experience in consumer electronics or electrical services environments is beneficial; additional certifications such as PAT testing or City & Guilds inspection and testing are a plus.
