Role Description
The Fully Qualified Scaffolder will support roofing and construction projects by erecting, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures in line with safety and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves close collaboration with roofers and other trades, maintaining clear communication, and adhering to all health and safety procedures. This is a contract role based in Blyth with a hybrid working arrangement, where on-site work is essential but some administrative and planning tasks may be carried out from home. The position requires reliability, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong scaffolding skills, including erecting, altering, and dismantling structures safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated competence in working at height and use of fall protection equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Experience working in confined spaces with awareness of relevant safety procedures and best practices.
- Valid CSCS card and familiarity with construction site standards and protocols.
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, including risk assessment and method statements.
- Relevant scaffolding qualification (e.g., CISRS or equivalent) and previous experience in roofing or construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, excellent teamwork skills, and clear communication with supervisors and colleagues.
- Good physical fitness appropriate for manual handling and site-based work, with a full driving license considered an advantage.
