About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused AV Field Engineer to join our client's technical delivery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about audio-visual and collaboration technology to work in diverse environments, providing essential technical support and installation services. The AV Field Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems at client sites, ensuring seamless operation and high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in audio-visual technology, electronics, or a related field. Prior experience in AV system installation, maintenance, or support is essential, with a proven track record of working in similar roles. Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, networking, and collaboration platforms is required. Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites are also necessary. Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
The AV Field Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Installing, configuring, and commissioning audio-visual and collaboration systems at client sites.
- Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Providing technical support and training to clients on AV system operation and features.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Documenting system configurations, upgrades, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during installations and maintenance tasks.
- Staying updated with the latest AV technologies and industry best practices.
