Low Code Functional Consultant | Power Platform
I’m currently recruiting for a Low Code Functional Consultant to join a leading global business and technology transformation consultancy, working with major organisations across the UK.
The organisation works across government, financial services, insurance, energy and retail, helping clients use technology to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful digital transformation.
This role sits at the intersection of business, technology and consulting, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform and low-code/no-code solutions. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their challenges, shape solutions and support delivery from initial requirements through to implementation and adoption.
The role
You’ll help clients identify where low-code technology can improve processes, automate work and deliver better business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with clients to understand their business challenges, processes and requirements
- Leading workshops with users, stakeholders and decision-makers to identify opportunities for Power Platform and low-code solutions
- Translating business requirements into clear, practical and sustainable functional solutions
- Designing and shaping solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse
- Advising clients on how low-code technologies can support business transformation and improve ways of working
- Working closely with technical teams, developers and architects to ensure solutions are deliverable and aligned with technical requirements
- Supporting Agile project planning and delivery, managing risks, dependencies and priorities
- Presenting solution recommendations, business value and delivery approaches to senior stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation and adoption of low-code solutions, ensuring they deliver the intended business outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to expand and accelerate the adoption of Power Platform across client organisations
- Contributing to proposals, solution shaping and wider business development activity
- Keeping up to date with developments across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot, Azure and Generative AI

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who can combine functional consulting, business analysis and Power Platform knowledge with strong client-facing skills.
You'll ideally have:
- 3+ years' experience in consulting, business analysis, technology advisory or a similar client-facing role
- Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and low-code/no-code technologies
- Experience with one or more of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI or Dataverse
- Experience analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation or digital improvement
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience designing or shaping technology solutions based on business requirements
- Confidence running client workshops and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- The ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Azure, Copilot or Generative AI would be beneficial
- Microsoft or Power Platform certifications would be advantageous
- Must be SC cleared or SC eligible

Location & travel
Office locations are available in:
- London
- Bristol
- Manchester
- Newcastle
- Glasgow
You can select the office location closest to you.
As this is a client-facing consulting role, you'll need to be comfortable travelling when a project requires it. This will typically be around 1–2 times per month, depending on the client and project.
Some assignments may require additional travel or time working from a client site, so flexibility is important.
