Introduction
As a PROS Functional Consultant, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that PROS Smart CPQ solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable value.
Working within a cross-functional Agile squad, you will understand sales and quoting processes, gather and prioritise requirements, design functional CPQ solutions and support implementation across Lead-to-Quote and Quote-to-Order journeys. You will work closely with D365 Functional Consultants, PROS and D365 Developers, Architects, QA Engineers and integration specialists to ensure responsibilities across PROS, Dynamics 365 / Dataverse and shared integration services are clear.
As PROS Functional Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges and opportunities for process improvement
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and process mapping activities
- Gather, document and prioritise business requirements
- Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
- Support backlog creation and refinement alongside Product Owners
- Build a detailed understanding of configure-price-quote processes, including product selection, configuration, pricing, discounting, approvals, quoting and downstream hand-offs
- Map end-to-end sales journeys across PROS Smart CPQ, Dynamics 365 / Dataverse and dependent enterprise services, identifying ownership, dependencies and data requirements

We'd love you to have
- Experience implementing or configuring enterprise CPQ solutions, ideally PROS Smart CPQ
- Strong understanding of CPQ processes including product catalogues, guided selling, product configuration, pricing, discounting, approvals, quoting and document generation
- Ability to translate complex commercial and sales processes into scalable platform-based functional designs
- Understanding of data and process boundaries between CPQ, CRM and downstream enterprise platforms
