GNME Functional Consultant (GE Smallworld) Position
We are looking for an experienced GNME Functional Consultant (GE Smallworld) with strong expertise in GE Smallworld and GNME 5.3.x solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, supporting implementations, and working closely with technical teams.
Key Skills:
Must Have:
- GE Smallworld
- GNME 5.3.x Solutions
Nice to Have:
- Azure DevOps or Git
- Basic scripting/configuration knowledge (Magik, SQL, or similar)
- Functional configuration experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
- Support solution design aligned with GNME capabilities and industry best practices.
- Configure and validate GNME functionality including workflows, data capture processes, and validation rules.
- Facilitate workshops, solution walkthroughs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support incident and problem management by analyzing functional issues and identifying root causes.
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize business processes.
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
