Are you passionate about Maths and committed to helping students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed?
What you'll do
- Teach Maths to students across relevant programmes and levels.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student learning and achievement.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
- Develop resources and activities to enhance students’ understanding of Maths.
- Maintain accurate registers and student records.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
- Keep up to date with developments in Maths and teaching practice.
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- A degree in Maths / related subject or equivalent working experience
- A full Level 5 teaching qualification, or be currently working towards one.
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Level 2 ICT qualification, or willingness to undertake the required qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of Maths to support teaching at Level 2 and 3.
- Knowledge and understanding of coursework requirements and assessment.
- Good IT and presentation skills, including the ability to use interactive whiteboards.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a supportive team.
- A commitment to professional development, equality and safeguarding.
