Are you looking to build your career in fund accounting within a growing, ambitious and technology-led business?
We're looking for an Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team, supporting a portfolio of private equity, private credit and real estate fund structures.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying towards a professional accounting qualification who wants to gain broad exposure across the full fund lifecycle, develop strong client-facing experience and work alongside experienced professionals in the private capital industry.
You'll play a key role in delivering accounting, reporting and investor servicing solutions while building relationships with clients, auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders. As your experience grows, you'll have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of fund structures, client deliverables and portfolio management responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the accounting and administration of private capital fund structures.
- Reviewing financial transactions and work prepared by Junior Accountants.
- Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Producing treasury, liquidity and compliance reporting.
- Preparing drawdown and distribution notices for investors.
- Supporting VAT and corporate tax reporting requirements.
- Responding to investor and client enquiries and providing a high standard of service.
- Preparing management accounts, quarterly investor reports and financial statements.
- Working closely with auditors, tax advisers, lawyers and other service providers.
- Supporting and developing junior team members through coaching and on-the-job training.
- Taking ownership of deliverables and proactively planning work to meet client deadlines.
- Contributing to projects and process improvements that enhance efficiency and client service.

What We're Looking For
You may be the ideal candidate if you:
- Are studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Have experience in fund administration, private equity, private credit, real estate funds or a similar environment.
- Have an understanding of accounting standards such as FRS 102.
- Have experience using Allvue, Investran or eFront (desirable but not essential).
- Possess strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Enjoy building relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
